New Art Club was formed in 2001 by Tom Roden and Pete Shenton and is fuelled by their shared spirit of adventure. Loved by audiences and critics alike, they create work which is a unique blend of dance and comedy. "Think Morecambe and Wise at Sadler's Wells." (Bruce Dessau, Chortle)

Tom and Pete have been described as ‘the Margot Fonteyn(s) of comedy’, ‘the Reeves and Mortimer of contemporary choreography, ‘the Gilbert & George of dance’ and, likened to comedian/musician Tim Minchin and performance poet Tim Key.

"A slick, warmly delivered, bloody funny slice of modern dance-meets-comedy fun" The List

Through its varied activities – creating new work, tours, education and community projects – New Art Club aims to ensure that all its audiences and participants – be they bright eyed or cynical – are entertained by the possibilities of dance and comedy.
